Looks like fall with that pretty foliage! Actually, I was just updating my calendar and was surprised to see the "first day of fall" date crop up on the page. It's coming...
It's still warm here, Emily, but August is usually miserable and it's definitely not that thus far. The extended forecast is also cooler than normal. I should at least be able to get some work done in the garden before the fall planting season arrives.

So pretty! It sure feels like fall where I am. At least in the mornings when I leave for work.
ReplyDeleteThe temperatures are especially cool for August in southern California, not that I'm complaining. Thanks for visiting Literary Feline!
DeleteI love fall, but I'm not ready !
ReplyDeleteI'm not either, although I don't mind our cooler temperatures. The Japanese maple appears to be trying to move things along...
DeleteVery pretty. Some of my deciduous trees haven't even lost all of their leaves yet and it's almost spring again. Not sure what's going on there!

DeleteOh no, not yet...not ready yet! :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe the maple is just trying to give us fair warning!
DeleteBeautiful colors...hoping to hold autumn back for many more weeks yet.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful but we are not nearly ready for autumn yet.
