Renovating an Established Garden One Step at a Time
Yummy! Fresh sweet corn has to be one of my favorite things and well worth waiting for.
I've never grown it before and didn't think I'd be successful so I'm thrilled!
I want to come over to your house for dinner!
Any time you're in the neighborhood, Loree - I just can't guarantee what'll be ready to go in the garden. It's been hit and miss with vegetables and fruit this season.
I can just imagine how sweet those will be, yummy!
They were surprisingly good if still a little small relative to what we can get in the supermarket. There are still 4 ears in the garden, though.
Where's the butter?
I always did like a little corn with my butter - that hasn't changed (except I use "light" butter now).
That's great looking corn! The only corn I've ever grown came from bird seed that germinated. :o)
