    BTW: on the subject of agapanthus, have you come across agapanthus 'sun stripe?' I saw it a couple weeks ago and am smitten!

    1. Coincidentally, I just came across 'Sun Stripe'. Wonderful foliage even without the bloom, but dare I add another agapanthus to what's already a large collection? Maybe!

    1. That 'Joseph's Coat' climbing rose was infested with aphids in early spring when I wasn't paying much attention to the garden. Even after dousing it with insecticidal soap, I ended up cutting most of the buds and new growth off but it came back with a bang so this rose at least was worth the effort. That Rudbeckia is amazing - it's bloomed almost non-stop since early last fall!

  4. So much color! I love it! Hairy Canary clover has to be one of the coolest common names I've ever heard. :o) Everything looks fabulous. :o)
