    1. Our gardens are clearly operating on different calendars. H. 'Indian Giver' is one of the last to bloom in my garden - most are finishing up their spring bloom cycle but many are rebloomers and should be back when the weather cools in the fall.

    1. This one really is purple - the camera made it appear redder than it is.

    1. I'm very happy with it, Deanne. I hope your garden is recovering from the polar blast it received earlier this year.

    1. I've admired this one for years, Chloris, but held off on my purchase as it was pricey. I'm glad I finally caved last fall.

  6. I planted a couple of purple daylilies last fall that I bought without knowing what they'd look like until I Googled them when I got home. I hope they're as beautiful as this one is!

    1. I hope you enjoy your new acquisitions, Tammy! I love all the purple-toned daylilies. 'Indian Giver' has the deepest purple color I've seen yet.
