(Almost) Wordless Wednesday: Chasing shadows

I usually take a daily walk around the neighborhood in the late afternoon, although as temperatures rise that may have to change. In any case, I found myself taking notice of the shadows cast by plants in my neighbors' front gardens and I started taking photos of them. As I've accumulated a significant number of these photos, I decided to throw them into a short post. Whether you find the patterns interesting or wish to take a guess at the plants that created them (or you choose to skip this post altogether) is up to you. Only two of the photos come from my garden, with the balance taken as I walked the road that runs through our neighborhood.

Should you be interested in knowing which plant accounted for which shadow, you can find a list in the comment I've left below this post.  Happy Hump Day!

    2. You did better than I would have done without looking at the plants and getting a little help from a plant ID app, HB! I can't tell one palm from another.
