This particular bird may or may not be a culprit in the theft (or should I say, decimation?) of the grape vine but he's a stand-in for the likely perpetrators. Too bad they're not satisfied by all the seed I put out!
Yes, the "bird scare tape" appears to be a bust. In early July, I saw that the birds had taken some of the grapes but, given the number of stems on the vine, I thought there would be some left by the time they ripened. As indicated, I was wrong...

DeleteSpeechless for Wordless Wednesday. The bird looks so innocent, ha! Nets are ugly and a pain but you might have to resort to them next year.
