I'm almost certain I've seen it offered at least once at Armstrong but it's not commonly available there. However, Annie's Annuals & Perennials in Northern California offers an identical plant, albeit under a slightly different name: Gomphrena decumbens "Airy Bachelor's Buttons." It looks pink in one of their online photos but it's the same plant as I ordered it from there once for another area of my garden. I checked and it's currently listed as out of stock but, if you create a wish-list with Annie's, they're good about letting you know when it becomes available. Good luck!Kris Petersonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07097260283693156795noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8574540292918761182.post-47259835107073671742020-08-09T15:05:22.143-07:002020-08-09T15:05:22.143-07:00Kris, I'm late to the party, but I was wonderi...Kris, I'm late to the party, but I was wondering if you could help me to locate where to buy Gomphrena decumbens 'Itsy Bitsy'. I saw it in Morro Bay this year and fell in love with it. Would you be willing to sell me a plant or three of it? Many thanks
Marie from so cal.Mariepthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07810447017492243011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8574540292918761182.post-62036972057132803352016-07-16T14:49:42.580-07:002016-07-16T14:49:42.580-07:00Oddly, the Cuphea 'Starfire Pink" has alw...Oddly, the Cuphea 'Starfire Pink" has always done better here than the orange-flowered varieties. I'm having to kick mine back up. I soaked everything quite well through May, and it seemed to allow me to leave things drier in June, which should have tided the garden over till monsoon rains; but now I've got to start over again as we're still not getting any monsoon weather to speak of. Next week there's a chance...
I'm fascinated by your Anagallis; it's always good to find another low-growing plant that can take the heat! The Lisianthus is super, of course! Hope I can find some plugs :) And Cuphea is a wonderful plant, isn't it?
